Shipping & Returns

Shipping
Where
All 48 contiguous US states. Not yet Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or international.
Cost
Free on orders over $100. Under $100, a flat rate shown at checkout before you pay.
Speed
Orders placed before 6:00 PM Eastern on a business day ship the next business day. After 6:00 PM, or on a weekend or US holiday, they ship the following business day. Standard transit is typically 2–5 business days after that, depending on distance.
Tracking is emailed the moment the label is made.
Packing
By hand, in Lewis Center, Ohio, wrapped in tissue. If it's a gift and you'd like it packed as one, leave a note at checkout.
If it's lost or damaged in transit
Email sales@thehoundandhorse.com with your order number and a photo where relevant. We'll deal with the carrier and sort a replacement or refund. You shouldn't have to fight a shipping company on our behalf.
Returns
The short version
30 days from delivery. Unworn, unwashed, original condition, tags attached. Return shipping is paid by you — unless we sent the wrong thing or it arrived damaged, in which case we cover it.
How to start one
Email sales@thehoundandhorse.com with your order number and what you'd like to send back. We reply within one business day with the address and instructions. Please don't post anything before contacting us — unannounced parcels can't be matched to an order.
Getting your money back
Once it arrives and passes a look-over, we refund to your original payment method within 3 business days. Your bank may take a few days more to show it. Original shipping charges aren't refunded.
Exchanges
Fastest is to return for a refund and reorder. If you'd rather we swap a size directly, say so and we will.
What we can't take back
- Gift cards
- Pieces personalised or made to order for you, including bespoke coin settings
- Anything returned after 30 days, or showing wear, washing, or damage from use
Ready-made coin jewellery can be returned like anything else, provided it comes back unworn and in its original box.
